Sunburnt — Support

Sunburnt tells you how strong the sun is right now, how the UV index moves across your day, and how not to get cooked. One screen, no fuss.

Where does the UV data come from?

The free, keyless Open-Meteo forecast service. Sunburnt is not medical advice — it’s a friend yelling “sunscreen!” Reapply every couple of hours and trust your own skin.

The location is wrong, or I want to check somewhere else.

Tap the location line near the top (“📍 vibing in …”) to open search. Type a city, ZIP, or address and pick from the list, or tap Use my current location to snap back to GPS. Handy if your GPS is off or you’re on a VPN.

It says my location is off.

Sunburnt works fine without device location — just search for a place instead. To turn device location back on: Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → Sunburnt → While Using the App.

The numbers won’t load.

Pull down to refresh. If it still won’t load, the weather service may be briefly down or your connection may be offline — try again in a bit.

Why does it ask for location?

Only to look up the UV forecast for where you are. Sunburnt has no accounts, no ads, no tracking, and stores nothing about you. See the Privacy Policy.
